“This mandate honors and commits me,” declared Rémy Estran-Fraioli. “This new board is representative of the plurality of rating agencies, with varied business models, specialists and generalists, present globally or focused on specific markets or locations. Although diverse, we simultaneously share common issues and challenges, as well as joint commitments and solutions. Our plurality is a strength in tackling common challenges and issues,” he added.
Founder and former president of the association, Thomas Missong, welcomes the handover. “Having created the association nearly 14 years ago, I am delighted to welcome the new board members and look forward to continuing to work under their leadership to improve the cooperation and visibility of rating agencies in Europe.” he emphasized.
